Which is better, vacationing in a mountain view cabin, or renting a cabin on the water?  Can’t you have both?  Unfortunately, most of the water and rivers are not on the top of a mountain.  I don’t know which I would prefer, I am inspired by the vistas and views from the mountain top cabins, but it’s hard to fish, kayak and canoe, and play in the water when you are on the top of the mountain.

There is something calming and soothing about listening to the sound of water cascading over the rocks in a stream or river.  There is a dock I frequent on the river at that I call “time warp” because every time I sit on it, I lose all sense of time and seem to lose 2 or 3 hours.
