What’s up with my cabin rental on your program?

  1. How will I know what is going on with my cabin if I enter the rental program with Sundance Cabin Rentals? At the top on the home page, there is a link for Owner Login.  Enter your user name and password, and you will be connected to the Owners Page, which will show you everything related to your cabin.
  1. What type of information is available for me to see? You will be able to review all current reservations including rates charged and length of stay, owner reservations, open work orders, unit calendar, housekeeping status, owners statements and review web information about your cabin.
  2. Can I make my own reservations online? Yes, you can book your own reservations from the owner’s page or call us to plan your stay.
  3. How do you handle the money you receive for rent and advance reservations? All deposits and rents collected are deposited into a Trust Account, separate from Sundance Cabin Rentals’ operating account.  This trust account is used to hold and disburse monies to the Owners, Vendors, Taxing Authorities and pay Sundance Cabin Rentals commission on rents.  Any direct expenses related to the cabins are paid out of this account.
  4. How do I get paid? At the end of each month, a statement will be sent to you itemizing all rentals, commissions paid, and direct expenses paid out of the trust account.  A copy of the statement and a payment will be mailed to you by the 10th of the following month.  (January payment will be mailed by the 10 of February)
  5. Do I get any type of year end statement? Yes, a year end statement is sent to all owners itemizing all expenses paid through the trust account, such as commissions, repairs, purchases made for the cabin on your behalf, etc.  This will make it easier for your accountant to itemize some of your expenses related to your rental investment.
  6. What happens if there is damage to my property? We will notify you immediately.  If the damage is directly related to a guest’s stay, we will persue payment from them on your behalf.  If the damage requires a repairman to come to your property, we will accompany either the repairman of your choice or one recommended by us to the cabin the make the necessary repairs.  If the damage is an insured claim, we will assist your insurance adjuster in any way possible.
  7. What if I want to sell my cabin? We will work with your Realtor to make your cabin available to show.  If guests are in your cabin, and a Realtor wants to show your property, we will help to make that as smooth as possible for the Realtor and the guests in your cabin.
  8. Some of your properties have videos. Will you produce one for my cabin too? Yes we will.  We have seen a dramatic increase in bookings in the cabins when we produce a video to showcase the cabin.  This video may be produced at no charge or we may invoice you for producing a video, based upon our agreement for managing your cabin.
