It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s a . . . drone?

Aerial view of Blue RidgeI thought I knew what Blue Ridge looked like, I was wrong.  Running around Blue Ridge, I’ve only seen it from the ground, and from occasional overlooks.  I was not prepared for the images we captured with a drone.

Randy Gray, with Broadcast Pro Photo traveled with us to visit several of our cabins in the Aska Adventure Area along the Toccoa River.  It was a perfect fall day, just at peak color for the Blue Ridge Mountains.Fall Sunrise in Blue Ridge, GAYes, I knew we lived in the mountains, but I never fully grasped how many there really were.  I know them by name from hiking and running around Blue Ridge, and seeing them from cabins, and from occasional overlooks, but never like this!

Toccoa RiverI’ve stood on the banks of the Toccoa River, but never really seen it from a bird’s-eye view.

Yes, we took some pictures of the cabins too.  Gives us an interesting perspective of how beautiful of an area North Georgia is!

Like me, you will just have to be content seeing and staying in these beautiful cabins on the ground.  Thanks again Randy and Broadcast Pro Photo for showing a side of Blue Ridge and the Aska Adventure Area that few have ever seen!
